Efaim Hersh Shafir
Their only child was Baruch who was called Baruch , born in October 1938 and hidden during the war by of Adela Nowosielska in Rabka-Zdrój . His name in hiding was Boluś.
The Jewish Bureau, which was in charge of order in the [Ostrowiec labor] camp, like, for instance, check that everybody should come to work, take care of the provisions, clothes, linen, and also be in contact with the German authority in the factory, .... In 1943 Efraim was interrogated by the SS, forced to dig his own grave and murdered.
His wife Chana survived the Holocaust, and later reclaimed her son Baruch who was in hiding and moved to Palestine in 1947.
