Henele (Annie) Nisenbaum was a daughter of Ella Jankiel and Rywka Nisenbaum, who lived in Ostrowiec in the early 1900’s. She was a sister of Kalman and Moshe Nisenbaum.

Henele emigrated from Ostrowiec to Canada in 1911 along with her new husband Abram (Max) Fox, and they moved to the United States in the 1930’s.
