His Rescue Story
After Rubinsztajn and his family were interned in the ghetto that was established in the city, Krycia came to their aid, and in January 1942, helped Chanina Szerman, Rubinsztajn’s uncle, get out of the ghetto and move to Warsaw, where an apartment he could hide in had been prepared for him.
