Moshe Katz

Moshe Katz

Moshe [Mozek /Morris] Katz was from Ostrowiec, son of Levi and Leika Katz.

His siblings were Rachel, Hanna and Abraham Hershel.

Moshe survived Auschwitz and other labor camps and was the only Holocaust survivor from his immediate  family. After the war, he spent a brief time in Munich Germany, as can be seen in the gathering of Ostrowiec survivors here.

He emigrated to Toronto, Canada where he raised his family along with his wife Syma Sylvia (Gwiazda).
