Moshe Lev/ Maurice Kerbel was born in Ostrowiec on June 2 1920. He was son of Jerychem Kerbel (b. 22.7.1875 in Bodzechow d. 20.9.1942 in Toronto) .

Moshe moved to Canada with all his family in 1933/1934 , was known by name as Maurice  and later met Gertrude Glazer who was born in Canada but parents were from Lithuania. They got  married and lived in Toronto, Canada.
