Hershel  Szuchendler   lived in Ostrowiec. He had a leather shop, for uppers of shoes.

From his first marriage, he had a son Faevel (Fred).

His second marriage was to Hanna (from Sosnowiec )  The children from this marriage were :

-Misha (Mike)

- Wawa (Bill)

- Jacob (Jack) -(who married  Lonia nee Rosenman ) They both survived the Holocaust and moved to Toronto, Canada after the war and changed the family name to Shuman.

-Rose

Fred , Mike, Bill and Jack all survived the Holocaust and moved to North America after liberation.
