Joske and Sara Rosenman

 

Joske [son of Hanoch and Lea  (Sankewitch) Rosenman] and Sara Rosenman lived in Ostrowiec.

During the Holocaust, he was the well liked vice-chairman of the Judenrat , but died from the Typhoid pandemic.

Pg. 49 English Section-Ostrowiec Yizkor Book (of 1971): "Amongst the numerous victims of the epidemic was also the vice-chairman of the Judenrat, Joske Rosenman, whose untimely death saddened the whole town"

Joske and Sara's children were (that is known to us at this time)  :

Esther (who married Dov Pancer). They both survived the Holocaust and moved to Israel, where the family name was changed to Peled .

Lonia  (who married  Jacob (Jack)  Szuhandeler.) They both survived the Holocaust and moved to Toronto, Canada after the war and changed the family name to Shuman.
