Hanoch Rosenman was the son of Berl and Priva Rosenman (and brother of Sara/Sura, Estera, Izik Meyer, Benjamin, Chaya Brucha) .

He married Lea (Sankewitch) Rosenman and their children were Jakob/Yaacov, Chaya, Joseph/Joske , Luba, Ruszca,  and Bracha.

Hanoch's second wife was Karola (daughter of Leon and Pesla Finkelstein and sister of Sara, Toba, Moshe and Chaim) They had together a daughter Pela.

Before the war some of the Rosenman family left to Palestine and therefore saved from the Holocaust.

Below is what we know the fate of the children were:

Children from first marriage with Lea:

Bracha- She was the only child that managed to leave to Palestine before the Holocaust.

Joseph/Joske -During the Holocaust, he was the well liked vice-chairman of the Judenrat , but he died from the Typhoid pandemic.

Survivors of the Holocaust:

Luba - Before the Holocaust, Luba ws married and had 2 children. The  Nazis murdered them. She moved to Palestine in 1946/1947 after a short stay in Sweden to recover from a sickness. In Palestine (later Israel), she joined her 2 sisters Ruszca and Brucha however the trauma of the Holocaust effected her greatly. She did not remarry, an died in the 1970's.

Ruszca/Roza/Shoshana  - During Holocaust, was saved by a Righteous of Nations Ewa. Came to Israel after the war ,after being in a detention camp in Cyprus,  married Zszich (Zeev) Wacholder.

Jakob/Yaacov - Married Gutta (Levy) and among their children were Pinchas and Lea.  His fate not known yet to our project.
