Zeev (Zszich) Wacholder was son of Ludwich Wacholder, the famous Ostrowiec dentist and important city council representative in Ostrowiec.

Before the Holocaust, he was married to Mania/Miriam, born in St.Petersburg, Russia (daughter of Ovsey Goldschmidt and Regina Rubinstein) and they had a son Josef Alexander. Both Mania and their son were murdered in the Holocaust.

Zeev survived and remarried to Roza (Rosenman) also from Ostrowiec, and moved to Haifa after the Holocaust.
