Rabbi Jonathan Balter
Jonathan Balter was born in Ostrowiec, the son of Israel and Perla Leah Balter, and the grandson of Akiva Rosset.
Jonathan Balter escaped Ostrowiec in 1939, and went to Lithuania to Yeshiva. He became a Rabbi, survived the Holocaust and moved to Toronto, Canada after the war. In Toronto, he taught at Associated Hebrew School, CHAT and Ner Israel. He passed away in 2011.
